Muddy Madness at Cross Country

On Friday 7th February, Ivy Chimneys went to West Hatch High School for the annual West Essex School Sports Partnership cross country race. The first race was the year 3 Girls: they were brilliant, pounding around the course through thick mud! The next race was the year 3 boys who ran really well in an incredibly fast race! Then it was the year 4 girls... they ran a brilliant race, with Daria coming 2nd. Next was the year 4 boys race, it was dazzling! The year 5 races were so fast, with Leila coming 5th for the girls and some very strong performances from the whole team.  The year 6 races were even better, with Eliza finishing 6th and Henry coming 2nd. Children finishing in the top 4 were picked to represent the partnership in the forthcoming Essex finals. Thank you to Mr Furness, Mr Jones and all the parents for supporting us.
